× Gay Demon is a medium sized, black and white linocut, measuring 17cm wide and 22cm in height. The linocut shows a tall, demonic figure in profile in the foreground, with its arms bent and hands raised to its face, with a wide smile and goat-like nose. It has two small, pointed horns from its head, and large, pointy ears. Its long, whip-like tail curls out from its lower back, held aloft, as the demon runs from right to left of the scene, its weight on its left leg which is planted in the ground with blades of grass splaying out, and its right leg is bent at the knee mid-run. On each of its feet are clawed, birdlike feet. In the background of the image, surrounding the demon’s head to the left, there are crosshatched stars in the sky. In the upper right hand corner of the print hangs a large, white, waning crescent moon. Beneath this sky and behind the demon is a row of hills, running across the image horizontally. On these hills, right below the moon, there is a large bonfire, with flames and wavy lines extending into the night sky. It surrounded by a scattered group of small stick figures, some of whom seem to be wearing witches hats. The print is bordered by short vertical and horizontal lines, radiating out from the print.
